Mitchell is a Co-Founder of Charm City Sports Partners, LLC and a co-owner of the Baltimore Orioles. He is a Partner and Co-Head of the Global Credit Group of Ares Management Corporation (NYSE:ARES), a leading global alternative investment manager. In addition, Mitchell is a member of the Binghamton University Foundation Board of Directors. He graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton with a B.S. in Accounting and received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
