Michael is a Co-Founder of Charm City Sports Partners, LLC and a co-owner of the Baltimore Orioles. He is a Co-Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Ares Management Corporation (NYSE:ARES), a leading global alternative investment manager.  Michael is also an owner of the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC), the Major League Soccer team based in Los Angeles. In addition, Michael serves as the Chairman of the Ares Charitable Foundation and is on the Governing Board of Directors of Operation HOPE, a not-for-profit organization focused on expanding economic opportunity in underserved communities through education and empowerment. He is also a member of the Leadership Council for PATH, an international, nonprofit global health organization. He received a B.A. in Ethics, Politics and Economics, cum laude, from Yale University.
